Wef 17 Oct our Company has distributed ART test kit to Office staff. Staff needs to conduct ART self- test on every Sunday and report their result to HR for appropriate action to be taken.
We also strictly comply with the following measurement to ensure our staff and work place is SAFE.
- 1. All staff are fully vaccinated
- 2. Stagger working and break hours
- 3. 1 meter safe distancing at workplace/common areas
- 4. Staff have meal at individually tables
- 5. Wear masks at all time
- 6. Safe Entry entering the workplace
- 7. Disinfecting work place/office every morning
- 8. Disinfecting agents at meeting rooms and common spaces eg. Pantry / meeting room/ reception counter/staircase areas before entre to office.
- 9. Email, briefing communicates to staff on Safe Management measurement, Health Protocols 1,2,3.
- 10. Safe Management Officer was assigned to conduct inspections and checks for non-compliance.

Local firefighting equipment manufacturer, LINGJACK innovates and expands its product portfolio to incorporate IoT, Cloud-based and Green firefighting technologies to improve safety and productivity for our customers.
With support from Enterprise Singapore, LINGJACK has developed an Internet of Things (IoT) platform last year to enable real-time checks on fire safety equipment in buildings.
The platform, also known as the “Fire Node”, consists of a cloud-based dashboard and a wireless monitoring system with sensors attached to fire extinguishers, emergency doors and exit signage.
These sensors collect critical information such as working condition of fire-fighting equipment, escape access blockage and environment conditions (eg. air quality). This information is presented on a cloud-based dashboard, enabling owners or occupants of buildings to identify faults or maintenance issues quickly. The system also provides alarm management and automatic testings of critical equipment such as Emergency and Exit light. All these are done in a non-intrusive manner on existing equipment.
It promotes predictive maintenance ie. allows the optimisation of maintenance schedule and reduction of manual labour.

Fire Test Certification on DH6i Pressure Regulating Valve
Lingjack Engineering Works had our latest achievement by having our DH6i Pressure Regulating Valve certified with Fire Test Certification accordance to BS5041 – 1 : 1987 Specification for Landing Valves for Wet Riser A.5.
Under the Fire Test Certification procedure, our DH6i Pressure Regulating Valve undergo heating to high temperature up to 540 degree Celsius with 20 barg pressure for 20 secs. Zero leakage was found after the test.

Lingjack and Vicom have our first collaboration to provide a Fire Safety Awareness Roadshow at Vicom Sin Ming.
At the roadshow, you will be able to see live demo on extinguishing of car engine fire and kitchen fire. These two type of fires have been commonly seen on recently news. Due to hot weather and irregular servicing of vehicle, the vehicle engine tends to catch fire easily and will cause danger to your live and property. At home, due to negligent or overcharging of personal mobility device (PMD) and mobile phone, fire could easily occurs and cause live threatening situation to you and your family.

Extinguishing with Industrial Automation
Due to high demand on productivity and difficulties of recruiting skilled manpower, our Managing Director, Mr Kenneth Lim have been looking into automation productivity and digitalisation. With his bold insight, persistence and perseverance, he had invested with the help of a grant from Spring Singapore to convert manual laboring of cutting, bending, stamping, welding and powder coating into an automated process.
With these transformation, we had manage to increase productivity by 40%. With these, we have manage to reduce the numbers of workers required per station and hence allow our workers to be able to spend time to better control and supervise the qualities of our products.
Furthermore with the assistance of robotic arms, a lot of heavy lifting and high risk task had been eliminated or substituted. These implementation will ensure the safety and wellness of our workers.
With these new break-thru and innovative, it had also spurs our group of staffs and workers to be creative and further enhance or improve on our products design and fabrication process.
In our coming of years, we will continue to improve on our service and quality of our products to all our dear customers.
